In short

What we collect
- Emails you send us. Your name, email address and whatever you include when you write to one of our addresses. We keep a copy so we can reply and follow up.
- Analytics data. We use Google Analytics, set up through Google Site Kit, to count visits and see which pages people read. It uses cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Technical data. Our host and security tools process IP addresses and request logs to keep the site running and protect it from abuse.
- Cookies. We use cookies to run the site, remember your consent choice and measure visits. See our cookie policy.
How we use it
We use your data to reply to messages, handle corrections, agency updates and partnership enquiries, understand which pages are useful, keep the site secure and meet legal duties. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us run the site, such as our hosting provider and Google for analytics, and only as needed to provide their service. Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We may disclose data if the law requires it.
Your choices
You can opt out of analytics cookies at any time through the “Opt-out preferences” link in our cookie banner or on our cookie policy. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep emails for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period after, then delete them. Security logs are kept for a short period. Analytics data is kept in line with the retention setting of our Google Analytics account.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including some US states, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, email privacy@clanpick.com. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
ClanPick is a business publication and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The last updated date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
